When putting a client’s name or their company name in writing, verify spelling and punctuation by referencing more than just one source. Getting it right won’t necessarily impress your client … but getting it wrong could certainly make for an unfavorable impression.
This is so true. People often misspell my name. What is really difficult to understand is even after gently letting them know they have done so and giving them the correct spelling, they still spell it incorrectly again. Just lets me know they aren’t in present time and to watch other details from their work.
