Sometimes remarkable customer service requires empathy. Acknowledge what is “true” for your clients; what they may be feeling. In other words, put yourself in their shoes before you act or respond.

  1. a well-known technique to show empathy is the 3 “F’s”: feel, felt, found. “i know how you feel. i’ve felt that way too. what i’ve found is…” thanks for the reminder to put ourselves in the other person’s shoes.
